All social security and welfare fund pension beneficiaries who were sanctioned a pension before December 31, 2025, must complete the mustering process via an Akshaya Centre between July 17 and September 30, 2026.

Kudumbashree, the State Poverty Eradication Mission, is an innovative initiative established in 1998 by the Department of Local Self Government with the objective of eradicating poverty. The mission, which has undertaken poverty eradication as its primary responsibility, implements its activities through a community-based organizational network formed under the leadership of Local Self-Government Institutions. Over the years, Kudumbashree has grown into a strong and extensive women's collective, working towards economic empowerment, social development, and women's empowerment.
